The lightweight shell is made from tough Polyethylene.
ProGuard is available with pin-lock and two different ratchet suspensions. The standard suspensions are made from flexible Polypropylene and have wide contact areas towards the head. This helps provide long term comfort and durability. A soft brow pad is standard. All models offer easy head size adjustments between 52 and 60 cm (6.5 ? 7.75 inches).
Model SC-30 comes with a standard pin-lock suspension.
Model SC-30R is equipped with a ratchet suspension, allowing easy size adjustment by turning the adjustment knob, positioned at the back.
Model SC-30R6 is equipped with our top of the line six point fabric harness and ratchet suspension.
ProGuard caps have accessory slots (30 mm) that accept hearing and face protection products. Use Elvex blades designated with suffix 29 or 30 (such as SA-29 and HM-6029 or SA-30 and HM-6030).

Elvex ProGuard caps comply with ANSI Z89.1-1997, Type I, Class E. Type I caps are designed to protect against falling objects (top impact) and are not designed for side protection (lateral impact). Class E (Electrical) is intended to reduce the danger of exposure to high voltage. Tested to 20,000 Volts.
